We think disc golf should be fun regardless of age or skill level, and make that a priority with our designs. Our team has been involved with the creation of over a dozen courses across the state, including 7 in Central Florida!
We will help you create a great course!

In recent years the City of Orlando has seen tremendous growth of disc golfers of all skill level using existing Airport Lakes Park and Bill Frederick Park courses. To offer an additional and convenient course Be The Disc is proposing a new course to the City of Orlando just south of downtown at Al Coith Park. As part of a drainage improvements project Al Coith has just undergone redevelopment that offers an educational nutrient separating baffle box displaying the filtration system to improve the stormwater entering the park. New aquatic vegetation and Cyprus tress have been planted to also assist with stormwater treatment. Be The Disc believes the new improvements can accommodate 9 baskets and 2 tee pads for an 18 hole configuration that will compliment the sustainable nature of the park and vision to be an environmental learning center. Many people assume disc golf courses need a lot of space and that's true for a competition level pro course, but a smaller foot print disc golf course can be built on 4-6 acres that offers a challenging technical layout enjoyable by players of all skill levels!

A former Navy recreation area, Southport Park is a showcase recreation center for southeast Orlando, view City of Orlando overview. According to a recent Vision Plan the future vision for Southport is as a livable community: an outstanding place to live, work, play, learn and shop.
Be The Disc has proposed disc golf as an addition to the Southport Village area, we feel there can be several unique options based on the future of the Southport neighborhood growth. Focusing on underutilized areas first, we see potential for a course that will provide a fun, safe challenge for players of all ages and skill levels, while keeping traffic away from the busier sections of the park such as the baseball diamonds and playground.
Help us enhance Southport with a destination course for locals and visitors alike, and match the future vision of this unique neighborhood!
